REGISTRATION CODES: 

Your company may have purchased registration codes for distribution to you. Registration codes may not be shared or provided to anyone outside your company. 

 

PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND SUBSTITUTIONS: 

 

  • Payment must be provided in the manner and at the times noted in the FAQs particular to the Event.  

  • Brave Achievers reserves the right to cancel your registration without notice for failure to pay as required.  

  • Cancellations and substitutions are subject to the dates and fees specified in the FAQs. There are no refunds for no shows.  

  • Requests for cancellations or substitutions not received in writing as described in the FAQs will not be honored. Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations is your exclusive responsibility.  

  • Brave Achievers is not responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, resulting from any canceled registration or impermissible substitution.  

  • Event registration is subject to availability.  

  • All event passes are valid only for the event and event year for which the passes are applicable.  

  • Passes purchased on an order form are non-refundable. Unused passes will be forfeited. 

Attendee Terms and Conditions for Brave Achievers, Re-Invent X AI Training Summit 

The following attendee terms and conditions, along with the Event Conduct Expectations ("Terms"), govern your registration and participation in the Brave Achievers, Re-Invent X AI Training Summit ("Event").

By clicking the "I accept" or "submit" button during the registration process, or by attending or participating in the event in any capacity, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms and represent that you have read and understand all the provisions herein. You must not select the "I accept" or "submit" button or attend or participate in the event in any capacity if you do not agree to these terms.

As used herein, "you" and "your" means the individual registering for or participating in the event and the company or other legal entity by which you are employed or for which you are accepting these terms. The "Effective Date" of these terms shall be the date that you click "I accept" or "submit." These terms are between you and Brave Achievers, Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and service providers ("Brave Achievers").

For further details regarding dates, scheduling, payment options, and contacts for assistance, please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) particular to the Event, which are hereby incorporated into these Terms. 

FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS:

 

Presentations at the Event may contain "forward-looking" statements based on our management's beliefs and assumptions and on information available to management. Forward-looking statements involve known and unknown risks, uncertainties, and other factors that may cause our actual results, performance, or achievements to be materially different from any future results, performance, or achievements expressed or implied by the forward-looking statements. We cannot guarantee that we will achieve the plans, intentions, or expectations disclosed in our forward-looking statements, and you should not place undue reliance on our forward-looking statements.  

EVENT MANAGEMENT: 

 

4.1. Badges:  

You may be required to present identification and pick up a badge at the Event check-in area before entering the Event. If badges are required for admittance, they must be always worn and visible while you are at the Event and during any activity associated with the Event. Badges may not be shared or exchanged with any person. 

 

4.2. Government Attendees:  

  • Government officials, employees of government agencies or state-owned or state-controlled institutions/entities, and employees of public international organizations ("Government Attendees") may be asked to confirm their registration as a government employee at the Event and present their government identification.  

  • Brave Achievers’ offer of an Event ticket does not constitute any expectation of payment to or by Brave Achievers, nor does it create any actual or implied claim against Brave Achievers.  

  • Accepting the invitational program and attending the Event does not create an actual or implied future obligation on behalf of any government entity. 

  • Brave Achievers complies with all applicable anticorruption and antibribery laws, rules, and regulations, including any applicable commercial bribery laws.  

  • Brave Achievers prohibits offering or providing anything of value to government officials or private sector personnel for an improper purpose, including to improperly influence a government official or any other person in their official or professional capacity. 

  • If you are a Government Attendee, you may be required to complete a certification at registration regarding your compliance with laws, regulations, and employer or other policies or rules applicable to you, among other things. Where required, your Event registration will not be processed without this certification. 

  • If the Event does not require registration in advance, you certify that you have taken all steps required to attend and receive all items of value provided as part of the Event in a manner that complies with laws, regulations, and employer or other policies or rules applicable to you, including, as applicable, obtaining the approval of your supervisor and/or a relevant ethics or legal office, disclosing or declaring your attendance and receipt of all items of value provided; and/or fulfilling any other requirements associated with your attendance and receipt of all items of value provided. You further certify that you are not aware of any actual or potential conflict of interest that would prohibit your attendance at the Event and receipt of all items of value provided. 

4.3. Security and Property:  

  • Brave Achievers reserves the right to take any security measures that it deems necessary to increase the safety of attendees and exhibitors without prior notice.  

  • You should not leave bags or other property unattended. Unattended property may be removed from the Event venue, and Brave Achievers will not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind relating to such removal.  

  • Event management may conduct security checks at any time during the Event, including inspections or scans of any attendees or exhibitors and/or their clothing, bags, containers, and other items.  

  • Firearms, explosives, and other weapons and hazardous materials that could be used to cause injury to another attendee are strictly prohibited at the Event venue and related activities. 

 

4.4. Health and Safety Protocols:  

  • Brave Achievers will comply with all World Health Organization or Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, as appropriate, in addition to national and local guidelines to ensure a safe, controlled environment for everyone.  

  • As an attendee, you expressly agree to fully comply with applicable COVID19 health and safety measures and protocols for attendance at the Event. Attendees are expected to respect the protocols that have been put in place for the Event and act responsibly. 

4.5. Minimum Age:  

You must be at least 21 years of age to attend the Event except as agreed in writing by Brave Achievers. 

 

4.6. Event Conduct:  

Brave Achievers reserves the right to refuse admission to, or to eject, any person whose conduct is disorderly, disruptive, harassing, vulgar, obscene, indecent, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise offensive (including conduct consisting of disparaging statements or opinions regarding race, gender, or ethnic background) or who fails to follow any of Brave Achievers’ other rules or directions, as determined by Brave Achievers in its sole discretion. 

 

4.7. Event Planning:  

  • The Event schedule is subject to change without notice.  

  • Brave Achievers does not guarantee the attendance of any exhibitor or speaker, or that any scheduled event will take place, particularly in the event of any natural or public disaster, insufficient participation or sponsorship, government regulation or shutdown, necessary venue construction, labor controversy, civil disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, armed conflict, or similar reasons beyond its reasonable control.  

  • Brave Achievers will not be liable, and no reimbursement will be made if a cancellation or modification of times, dates, sessions, or events is cancelled. 

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND RECORDINGS: 

 

Brave Achievers will handle your personal information collected during registration in accordance with Brave Achievers' Privacy Statement. 

 

5.1. Registration Information:  

  • You agree that Brave Achievers may use your registration information to send you updates and surveys regarding the Event.  

  • You also agree that Brave Achievers may share your personal information with its third-party service providers to process your registration. Such third parties may have their own privacy policies that apply to their processing of your personal information. 

 

5.2. Sharing Your Registration Information:  

  • By attending a session sponsored by a presenter or partner, whether as a virtual participant or as an in-person attendee, you authorize Brave Achievers to share your registration information with that particular presenter or partner and agree to receive communications from such presenter or partner, which are subject to that presenter’s or partner’s privacy practices, including such entity’s privacy statement or policy.  

  • If you attend a live event, you will be provided with a badge. Badges may contain tags to record your participation in breakout sessions and other activities during the Event.  

  • By permitting a presenter, partner, or exhibitor to scan your badge during the Event, you authorize Brave Achievers to share your registration information with that particular presenter, partner, or exhibitor and agree to receive communications from such presenter, partner, or exhibitor.  

  • Communications from a presenter, partner, or exhibitor will be subject to that entity's privacy practices, including its privacy statement or policy.  

  • Attendees who are government employees or press members may be asked for identification.  

  • Brave Achievers may also track your attendance to sessions, exhibit booths, and other activities during the Event using web-enabled technologies, including but not limited to, Bluetooth beacons and near field communications technologies (collectively, "Web-Enabled Technologies").  

  • Brave Achievers uses Web-Enabled Technologies to gauge interest in sessions, exhibit booths, and other activities by Event attendees as well as communicate with you regarding Brave Achievers' products and services during the Event.  

  • Brave Achievers may also use Web-Enabled Technologies after the Event if you opted in to receive such communication. 

5.3. Recordings:  

  • You acknowledge and agree that the Event is a public event, that your appearance and actions inside and outside the venue where the Event occurs are public in nature, and that you therefore have no expectation of privacy with regard to your actions or conduct at the Event.  

  • By attending the Event, you give your express consent to Brave Achievers and its agents to photograph and record the Event and activities related to the Event in visual and audio media.  

  • You hereby irrevocably agree and consent that Brave Achievers has the right to record, transcribe, modify, perform, reproduce, display, distribute, and transmit in any form and for any purpose your name, company name, voice, picture, photograph, portrait, and other reproductions of your likeness (collectively, your "Image") at the Event in connection with:  

1) any advertising or promotional content and materials,

 

2) sharing with our subsidiaries and affiliates, marketing service providers, and with Platform Service Providers (e.g., cloud service providers, security providers, and data storage providers), and 

​

3) for any other lawful purpose including by posting on public websites without any compensation to you. However, Brave Achievers is not obligated to make any use of your Image, or exercise any of the rights granted to it. You also agree that your Image may appear in photos of the Event made available to you, other attendees, and the public, and Brave Achievers may retain and distribute those photos. 

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:  

 

  • You understand that participation in the Event is voluntary and carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries.  

  • You hereby agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Brave Achievers, its officers, directors, employees, vendors, partners, agents, and contractors from any and all alleged and/or actual liability, claims, actions, lawsuits, damages, and losses of any kind, including attorneys' fees, which arise out of or result from your attendance at and participation in the Event and ancillary activities, including but not limited to property damage and personal injuries, illness, death, or other physical loss, whether or not foreseeable. 

 

AGREEMENT: 

 

  • These Terms and all claims arising hereunder will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Lagos state, Nigeria.  

  • You hereby irrevocably waive any and all claims and defenses you might otherwise have in any action or proceeding in any of such courts based upon any alleged lack of personal jurisdiction, improper venue, forum non conveniens, or any similar claim or defense.  

  • If any provision of these Terms is for any reason found to be unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms will continue in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.  

  • These Terms and their incorporated documents constitute the complete and exclusive understanding and agreement of the parties and supersede all prior understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, with respect to the subject matter hereof. 

 

MODIFICATION AND DENIAL OF ENTRY: 

 

Brave Achievers reserves the right to change the policies set forth in these Terms without prior notice and retains sole discretion to deny entry to the Event to anyone for any reason.
