Nkata Timothy's success story as entry level product designer
4 Weeks Bootcamp to a Promising Career in Tech.
Few months ago, when Nkata Timothy attended one of Brave Achievers monthly Virtual Presentation Pro meetings for the first time, he had no idea of what impact the two hour session will eventually have on his future.
By the end of the first session (focused on virtual working and presentation skills), Nkata had accepted a challenge to take part in an ongoing self-paced ServiceNow Hackathon with some other attendees.
Within a month, Nkata and his team successfully designed the experience and built a fully functional ServiceNow Application. All learning was self-paced while being supported by their Brave Achiever mentor.
Once the Hackathon was over, Nkata self studied and sat for his ServiceNow Administrator exam and passed within two weeks. Making him the first known Ugandan to take and pass the certification exam without attending an Instructor Led Tutoring class.
On 20th of August, we got an offer for an entry Low Code Developer role for Timothy from one of our Partners. From next month, Timothy will begin his new role building low code platforms as an entry level developer.
None of this would have been possible without YOUR support. THANK YOU.
